Delete your Looop account

You can permanently delete your Looop account and associated personal data from the app. Deletion is immediate and cannot be undone.

How to delete your account in the app

Open the Looop app and sign in.
Open the menu (sidebar) and tap Profile Management (or complete-profile / account settings).
Scroll to Manage your account at the bottom.
Tap Delete Account and confirm in the dialog.

What we delete

When you delete your account, we remove:

Your Firebase authentication account (sign-in access)
Your user profile in our database (name, username, email, phone, bio, profile photo reference, friends list, stats, and saved-highlight references on your profile)
Your username mapping so it can no longer be used

What may be kept (and why)

Some data may be retained for a limited time after deletion for legal, safety, or moderation reasons, including:

Match recordings and highlight clips that were generated at sports venues (venue-owned footage; not uploaded by you directly)
Moderation records, abuse reports, or dispute logs tied to safety investigations
Server logs and backups for security and fraud prevention (typically deleted or anonymized on a rolling basis)

We do not retain your profile or allow you to sign in after account deletion.

Delete data without deleting your account

You can remove individual saved highlights, update your profile, and change privacy settings inside the app without deleting your account. For other privacy requests, contact us.

Need help?

Email support@looopme.in from the email linked to your account if you cannot access the app. We will verify your identity and process deletion requests.
