These Terms of Service (“Terms”) govern your access to and use of the Looop platform, including the related mobile applications, websites, hardware devices, technology, software, and services (collectively, the “Services”). Additional information about the Services may be found at looopme.in.
These Terms incorporate Looop’s Privacy Policy, Acceptable Use Policy, Community Standards, and any additional agreements you may enter into with Looop. In these Terms, the words “Looop,” “we,” “our,” or “us” refer to the entity providing the Services to you.
Looop is a sports video platform that enables players to access gameplay highlights recorded at participating sports venues. The platform connects automated recording infrastructure installed at sports facilities with a mobile application that allows players to view and interact with highlight clips generated during games.
Participating venues may install fixed cameras that continuously record gameplay taking place on courts or fields. These camera systems are connected to a physical trigger device located at the venue. The cameras may record continuously or maintain a rolling video buffer that captures recent gameplay activity.
During gameplay, a player or venue operator may activate the trigger device to mark a highlight moment. When the trigger device is activated, the system automatically generates a highlight clip from the video buffer containing the relevant moment of gameplay.
These highlight clips are processed using Looop’s cloud infrastructure and are then made available through the Looop mobile application. Users who participated in the relevant game session may access the generated highlights through their account, where they may view, save, or share clips with others through the platform.
The Looop application does not operate or control the recording hardware installed at sports venues and does not start or stop the cameras. The recording infrastructure is installed and operated at partner venues, and highlight clips are generated by the venue recording systems in response to trigger events. The mobile application provides access to the clips generated by those systems and allows users to interact with them within the platform.
The Services may include automated gameplay recording systems installed at participating venues, highlight generation through physical trigger devices, cloud-based video processing and storage, viewing and saving highlight clips through the mobile application, user accounts that allow players to track participation and activity, and social or sharing features that allow highlights to be shared with other users.
The Services are intended primarily for recreational sports environments where players wish to access video highlights from games played at participating venues.
These Terms constitute a legally binding agreement between you and Looop. By accessing, downloading, installing, creating an account, or otherwise using the Services, you indicate that you have read, understood, and agree to be bound by these Terms. If you do not agree to these Terms, you must not access or use the Services.
If you access or use the Services on behalf of a company, sports venue, organization, or other entity, you represent and warrant that you have the authority to bind that entity to these Terms. In such cases, these Terms apply to both you and the entity you represent.
Your continued use of the Services confirms your ongoing acceptance of these Terms and any updates that may be made to them in accordance with the provisions described below.
Creating and operating an account on the Looop platform requires users to be at least thirteen (13) years old, or such higher age as required by the laws of the jurisdiction in which the user resides. If you are under the legal age required to form a binding contract in your jurisdiction, you may only use the Services with the involvement and consent of a parent or legal guardian. If you are a parent or legal guardian of a user who is under the legal age required to form a binding contract, you agree to supervise the user’s activities and accept responsibility for ensuring compliance with these Terms.
Looop reserves the right to suspend or terminate accounts that do not meet these eligibility requirements or that are found to have been created using inaccurate age information.
To use certain features of the Services, you must create an account. When creating an account, you agree to provide accurate and complete information and to keep that information updated. You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials and for all activities that occur under your account.
You may not share your account with another individual or allow another person to access the Services using your credentials. Looop reserves the right to suspend or terminate accounts that violate these Terms or are used in a manner inconsistent with the intended operation of the Services.
You may create or access your account using third-party authentication providers such as Google or Apple. If you choose to use third-party authentication, you authorize Looop to receive certain information from the authentication provider as permitted by that provider’s policies and your privacy settings. The use of third-party authentication services may also be subject to the terms and privacy policies of the relevant authentication provider.
Looop operates in sports venues that may use automated camera systems to capture gameplay and surrounding activity. These recording systems may record continuously or maintain a rolling buffer of gameplay footage in order to enable highlight generation during matches.
By entering or participating in activities at a venue that uses Looop technology, you acknowledge and understand that gameplay areas and surrounding spaces may be recorded by automated camera systems. These recordings may capture players, spectators, venue staff, or other individuals present at the venue.
Recordings captured by the venue systems may be processed to generate highlight clips that are made available through the Looop platform. Venue operators are responsible for informing participants and visitors that recording systems may be in operation at the facility.
Certain venues may provide connected trigger devices that allow participants to mark highlight moments during gameplay. These devices are typically installed near courts or playing areas and are operated by players or venue staff.
When a trigger device is activated, the recording system may generate a highlight clip from the video buffer surrounding the moment when the trigger occurred. This clip is then processed and uploaded to Looop’s cloud infrastructure so that it can be accessed through the mobile application.
Looop does not guarantee that every trigger event will result in a successfully generated clip. Highlight generation may be affected by factors such as network connectivity, camera availability, hardware conditions, software processing systems, or other technical limitations.
For the purposes of these Terms, “Content” refers to any text, video, images, audio, metadata, or other materials made available through the Services.
Users retain ownership of the personal information and materials that they directly upload to the platform, including profile information, account details, and other user-submitted content.
Highlight clips available through the Services are generated through recording systems installed at partner sports venues. Because highlight clips originate from venue recording systems rather than from user uploads, users do not own the highlight recordings available through the platform.
Users may access, view, and share highlight clips through the Looop application as part of the functionality of the Services. Access to highlight clips does not grant users ownership or intellectual property rights in the recordings.
You are responsible for any information or materials that you upload or submit through the Services. You represent and warrant that you have the necessary rights to submit such materials and that the content does not violate the rights of any third party or any applicable laws.
Looop does not endorse or guarantee the accuracy, completeness, or reliability of content submitted by users. By using the Services, you acknowledge that you may encounter content that you consider objectionable or inappropriate.
Looop may monitor, review, restrict, or remove content that violates these Terms, the Acceptable Use Policy, Community Standards, or applicable laws.
Users may report content that they believe violates these Terms or applicable laws. Reports may relate to privacy concerns, abusive conduct, illegal content, or other issues requiring review.
When a report is submitted, Looop may restrict access to the reported content while it is reviewed. After reviewing the report, Looop may remove the content, restrict its visibility, or restore it depending on the outcome of the moderation process.
Repeated violations of the platform’s rules may result in account suspension or termination.
Although users must be at least thirteen (13) years old to create accounts on the platform, minors may appear incidentally or unintentionally in recordings captured at sports venues where Looop technology is installed.
If content is reported as including a minor or raising concerns about the presence of minors in recordings, Looop may immediately restrict public access to the content while the report is reviewed. Content involving minors may be removed or permanently restricted from public access where appropriate.
The Services may rely on third-party providers in order to function properly. These providers may include services for authentication, cloud hosting, database storage, file storage, analytics, app distribution, mapping, notifications, and other technical infrastructure necessary for the operation of the platform.
Looop is not responsible for interruptions, errors, outages or security issues caused by third-party providers, except to the extent required by applicable law. Where third-party services are used, such services may also be subject to the terms, conditions, and privacy policies of the relevant provider.
Sports venues that install Looop technology are responsible for ensuring that their use of recording systems complies with applicable laws and regulations, including laws relating to privacy, recording consent, and signage or visible notices notifying individuals that recording systems may be in operation.
Looop provides the technology platform used to process recordings and generate highlight clips but does not operate sports venues or control venue policies regarding the use of recording systems.
The availability of highlight clips and other features of the Services depends on a combination of hardware systems, venue infrastructure, network connectivity, and cloud processing services. The operation of automated recording systems may be affected by camera functionality, power availability, internet connectivity, trigger device operation, and system maintenance.
Looop does not guarantee that recordings will always be captured, that trigger events will always generate highlight clips, or that clips will always be available within the platform.
Highlight clips and related recordings may be stored within Looop’s systems for a limited period of time. Storage duration may depend on technical capacity, system configuration, venue policies, or operational considerations.
Looop may delete or archive highlight clips after a certain period of time without prior notice. Users should not assume that highlight clips will remain permanently available within the platform.
Looop may also remove recordings if required for technical reasons, platform updates, legal compliance, or moderation decisions.
Users may not misuse the Services or interfere with the operation of recording systems or platform infrastructure. Prohibited activities include attempting to tamper with venue recording equipment, interfering with trigger devices, attempting to bypass platform safeguards, scraping, copying, or systematically downloading video content, or using automated systems to access or extract data from the platform.
Users may not use highlight clips generated through the platform for unlawful purposes, harassment, or commercial exploitation without authorization.
Looop reserves the right to restrict access to the Services or terminate accounts that engage in activities that disrupt the operation of the platform or violate these Terms.
The Looop platform, including its software, systems, design, trademarks, logos and underlying technology, is owned by Looop or its licensors and is protected by intellectual property laws.
These Terms do not grant users any ownership rights in the platform or its technology. Users may access the Services solely for their intended use as described in these Terms.
Users may not copy, modify, distribute, reverse engineer, or create derivative works based on the platform or its technology without the prior written permission of Looop.
The Services may be distributed through mobile application marketplaces including the Apple App Store and Google Play Store. Apple Inc. and Google LLC are not responsible for the operation of the Services and are not parties to these Terms.
Your use of applications distributed through these marketplaces may also be subject to the terms and policies of the relevant marketplace provider.
You agree to indemnify and hold harmless Looop, its operators, employees, and partners from any claims, damages, losses, or expenses arising from your use of the Services, your violation of these Terms, or your infringement of the rights of any third party.
THE SERVICES AND ANY CONTENT PROVIDED THROUGH THE PLATFORM ARE PROVIDED “AS IS” AND “AS AVAILABLE,” WITHOUT WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND.
LOOOP DISCLAIMS ALL WARRANTIES, WHETHER EXPRESS OR IMPLIED, INCLUDING IMPLIED WARRANTIES OF MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, AND NON-INFRINGEMENT.
LOOOP DOES NOT WARRANT THAT THE SERVICES WILL ALWAYS BE AVAILABLE, THAT RECORDINGS WILL ALWAYS BE CAPTURED, OR THAT HIGHLIGHT CLIPS WILL ALWAYS BE GENERATED OR STORED WITHOUT INTERRUPTION.
TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, LOOOP WILL NOT BE LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES ARISING FROM YOUR USE OF THE SERVICES.
LOOOP’S TOTAL LIABILITY ARISING FROM OR RELATED TO THESE TERMS WILL NOT EXCEED THE GREATER OF FIFTY DOLLARS ($50) OR THE AMOUNT PAID BY YOU TO LOOOP IN THE TWELVE MONTHS PRIOR TO THE CLAIM.
Looop may suspend or terminate your account if you violate these Terms or misuse the Services. You may request deletion of your account at any time through the Services or by contacting support.
Termination may result in the deletion of your account information and associated user-submitted content as well as loss of access to highlights associated with your account.
Looop may update these Terms from time to time. If material changes are made, we will provide notice through the Services or other appropriate means.
Your continued use of the Services after updated Terms become effective constitutes acceptance of those changes.
